The English language lab houses 64 state -of- the- art desktops networked and is installed with the latest language learning software. It is a multi -window interface system assembly, which aid language skill development. The lab uses ‘language lab’ software as developed by Globarena Software Solution providing tailor made, easy, step-wise chapters that aid language learning as easy as a child’s play. It includes:

4. Writing skill development
5. Phonetics, etc
The student in the language lab puts into practical use his acquired language skills as well as exposed to newer expressions, as a result language learning is internalized and it becomes part of his/her everyday verbosity.
The English Lab is suitably designed to enhance and promote students’ language competence- communication skills, vocabulary command, listening ability, pronunciation accuracy (eliminating MTI) and most importantly reading and understanding texts in a more defined way.
The Lab is a fully computerized client server application that can be run in LAN. It has an easy to use console displayed on the desktop of the server to facilitate the faculty to conduct the course. Students would access the courseware through client server systems.
English Lab has the following modulesdesigned to enhance Language Skills amongst students to make them successful in careers.
Communication Skillsare a comprehensive language development program covering reading, writing, basic vocabulary, and grammar.
The listening Skills section gives the students a thorough grounding in many aspects of listening and listening comprehension. This enhances students’ listening skills.
Vocabulary moduletrains students in essential vocabulary in an easy and fun way. Students need not learn words by rote anymore. A unique methodology is used to ensure that students learn words and retain them. This 2000 word vocabulary builder would be of special interest to students preparing for GRE and IELTS.
Phonetics trains thestudents in English sounds, pronunciation, stress, intonation, etc. It covers Vowels, Consonants, Diphthongs, Inflections, Intonation, stress pattern and rhythm, Ear training, Common errors in English, Correct pronunciation, and Phonetic symbols
