Annual Sports Fest of Mewar University was inaugurated on 21 February, 2023 at Mewar University Football ground. The inauguration ceremony was stared with the felicitation of guest of the function Mr. Anand Verdhan Shukla, Pro Vice Chancellor, Mewar University. The welcome note of the program was presented by Dean, Agriculture Prof. Y. Sudarshan. He conveyed the message that this type of activities provide the best platform to students to grow further. Chief Guest of the Function Mr. A. V. Shukla enlightened about the sports activities organized at Mewar University in his speech. He encouraged the students to participate in maximum activities. He also conveyed his best wishes to all the participants. Later on flag hosting and oath ceremony was done. After that Mashal procedure and lighting was done by the students who represented Mewar University in various sports events and won the Medals/trophies. The Mashal was enlightened by all the guests. At the inauguration Dr. Alka Agarwal, BOM, Member also graced the function with her presence. Finally Dr. R. Raja, Registrar conveyed the vote of thanks. All Dean’s, Directors, HoD’s and other faculty members with their students were present during the inaugural function. The tournament started with a Football match.
