All India Shree Nandlal Gadiya Memorial Debate-2023

Two-day (2 March 2023 to 3 March 2023) debate competition ends on Friday at Mewar University Youth should not be employment takers but givers: Former Union Minister of State: C. R.  The two-day "All India Shri Nandlal Gadiya Memorial Debate Competition - 2023" concluded at Mewar University under the joint aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). At the end of the last day, participants from all corners of the country presented their views on the topic "Voting should be mandatory in Indian democracy" in the English language. Altogether 250 participants took part in this competition. Arriving from different places of the country like Delhi, Aligarh, Banaras, Haridwar, Noida, Ajmer, Jaipur, etc. the participants participated enthusiastically in the competition and presented their views on the subject with seriousness. 94 participants participated in the English language competition held on the second day, while 156 participants participated in the Hindi language competition held a day earlier. The participants of the competition also praised the management done by the Mewar University administration. On this occasion, the first, second, and third winners were awarded and certificates and mementos were also distributed to all the participants of the competition.

As a chief guest in the debate competition, former Union Minister of State and former MP C. R. Chaudhary arrived to increase the enthusiasm of the participants and while addressing the students, he said that sustainable development is very important for human life, we should not misuse natural resources. It should not be discarded, but it should be preserved for future generations. In the program, he called upon the youth and said that students should not be job seekers but should be able to employ them so that a young entrepreneur can improve the future of hundreds of youth. Keeping this objective in mind, the Government of India is also running the 'Make in India' and 'Startup' policies so that the youth themselves can become entrepreneurs and provide employment to others. C. R. Chowdhary, who had previously served in the university, while paying tribute to the late Mr. Nandlal Gadiya, said that it is the result of the thinking of that personality that he worked on the concept of “Sarvajan Hitaya and Sarvajan Sukhaye” in rural areas like Mewar. I laid the foundation stone of Mewar University in which today students not only from every corner of the country but also from abroad, African and Asia continental countries come to study so that a bright future can be built. , On this occasion, Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chancellor of Mewar University, said in his address that how the participants presented their views on the subject with great dexterity and confidence is commendable. This country is a country of 70 crore youth and this youth power is the leader of the country. The country will progress on the path of progress only when the youth is educated. It is the responsibility of all of us to contribute to fulfilling this objective. After this, he gave detailed information to the students about the anomalies prevailing in the elections and highlighted the disadvantages of not voting. He said that the purpose of this debate competition was to create awareness among the people about voting so that the right representative could be elected. At the end of the program, the coordinator Dr. Lokesh Sharma expressed gratitude to everyone. Board of Management member Radha Krishna Gadiya, Vice Chancellor Dr. Alok Mishra, Pro. Vice-Chancellor Anand Vardhan Shukla, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Sarvottam Dixit, along with heads of departments, professors, and students were present.

Organizing committee chairman Dr. Chitralekha Singh said that the team of IMS Law College Noida was awarded Rs 5 lakh in cash and the "Shri Nandlal Gadia Memorial Running Trophy" in the competition. The first prize winners (Rs 31000/-) in Hindi Medium were Jayanthi Mishra and Manish Kumar of IMS Law College Noida and Aditi Singh and Durga Kanwar of LDPS Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Pali. The second prize winners (Rs 21000/-) were Vrinda Parashar and Harshita of Sophia Girls College Ajmer and Rakhi and Suraj Mishra of HNB Garhwal University. The third prize winners (Rs 11000/-) were Ritik Rajgir and Yashasvi Pandey of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar and Shatakshi Sharma and Perth Narayan Singh of Law College Dehradun Uttaranchal University.

 The first prize winners in English Medium were Sudeep Krishna and Priyanshu Chauhan of the Jamia Millia Islamia University of Delhi and Priyanka Pratapgarh and Kavya Singh of Banasthali Vidyapeeth.

The second prize winners were Bhavya Srivastava and Priyanshi Chawla of Sophia Girls College Autonomous Ajmer and Jayanthi and Manish Kumar of IMS Law College, Noida. The third prize winners were Pragya and Gaurav of GB Pant University and Aryan Agarwal and Neha Sharma of National Law University, Jodhpur. Consolation prize in Hindi medium was given to Himanshu Jindal and Sudhanshu Dhaka of Lovely Professional University, Punjab, second prize to Priya Dangi and Manu Sharma of Bhagwant University, Ajmer and third prize to Abhinav Singh and Yogita Yadav of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, University of Delhi. The consolation prize in English medium went to Gorvi Maheshwari and Priyanshi Chawla of PG College, Chittorgarh, second prize to Shivani Bagwal and Suhani Singh of The ICFAI University, Jaipur and third prize to Anandita Maurya and Abhay Sharma of Dev Sanskriti University, Uttarakhand. The first prize for best speaker in Hindi medium was given to Priya Dangi of Bhagwat University, Ajmer, and the second prize to Himanshu Jindal of Lovely Professional University, Punjab, while the first prize for best speaker in English medium was given to Shivani Bagwal of The ICFAI Jaipur, second prize to Gauravi Maheshwari of PG College, Chittorgarh.

Classical dancer Mrs. Kunjalata Mishra enthralled the program by giving a mesmerizing presentation of nine races through Odissi dance, while on the other hand, Dr. Trigunateet Jaimini enthralled everyone with sitar playing and brought back the memories of Vrindavan's Holi. After which the Maharana Pratap Seminar Hall resounded with the shouts of Banke Bihari. On this occasion, the stage was conducted by Dr. Rajshi Kasoudhan, and the students coming from outside were given information about Prabhash Joshi Gandhi Museum, Science Museum, Astrology Museum, Yoga Museum, Art Gallery, etc. built-in Mewar University. While showing its positive aspect, Priyanshi exposed the hollow claims of the people's representatives after coming to power.
